Hours of operation update...our office is closed on Saturdays.
We continue to be available with our regular hours Monday through Friday if your pet needs medical care. Please call us with any questions.
We will accept walk-ins from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. We will have appointments from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Please understand that average wait time during walk in hours can be 1 to 2 hours. Availability for routine appointments may be up to 2 weeks for non-urgent wellness visits. Please call our office to discuss your pet's needs and we will work with you to schedule care for your furry family member.
We also offer technician appointments MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY 9am to 12pm for anal gland expression, nail trims, doctor prescribed subcutaneous fluid therapy, and laser treatments that have been recently examined by our veterinarians. These patients must have proof of current Rabies vaccinations and a current (within 1 year) physical exam with our veterinarians.
If you have any concerns about our curbside protocol for seeing patients please call the office before your arrival so we can discuss your concerns and answer any questions.
Our protocols to protect our clients and our staff remain in place. All of our procedure adjustments are to keep everyone safe and allow us to continue to operate. We have installed a new phone system. Calls are answered in the order they are received and customers are put in a queue for the next available receptionist. All incoming calls need to be directed to our main phone number 304-766-6407.
We ask that when you arrive at the clinic for an appointment or walk-in service to see the veterinarian, you REMAIN IN YOUR CAR AND CALL US at 304-766-6407. A staff member will check you in at that time. Our team will call you when it is your turn and collect all the necessary information by phone to proceed with your pet's appointment. You and your pet can wait in the safety of your vehicle until one of our staff members is available to escort you to an exam room. WHILE YOU ARE WAITING, PLEASE CHECK YOUR PHONE AND MAKE SURE IT IS READY WITH THE SOUND ON TO RECEIVE CALLS! This will be our main source of communication during your pet's visit. We are welcoming 1 adult wearing a mask to accompany the pet in the hospital for the appointment. We are still offering curbside service when requested or if you have young children in the car with you.
If you do not have a mobile phone, please call the office from your home before leaving to travel here. We can discuss the plan for your pet's visit and prepare for your arrival.
We ask that all pets be ON A LEASH OR IN A CARRIER.
If your pet is going to leave with you after the appointment, you may wait onsite until your pet's appointment is complete. If your pet is being admitted to the hospital, an estimate will be given and a deposit may be required. Our doctors will communicate with you to discuss your pet's condition and treatment plan. You will be provided with discharge instructions at the conclusion of your pets visit, along with any medication. Invoice/receipts will be provided at that time.
If you or a family member is ill, or in quarantine, please alert our staff when you call so that we may take proper precautions and work with you to find a safe solution for your pet's care.

******Medication or Food Pick-up*****
Please call ahead for your medication refills and prescription food orders. IF POSSIBLE PLEASE ALLOW 24 HOURS for us to fill your request. Payment can be made at that time, or when you arrive for pick-up. Upon arrival to the clinic, you may enter the lobby to complete your pick-up. If you prefer to remain curbside, call the front desk and a staff member will complete your payment if needed and bring your items out to you. Due to supply chain issues some of our medications and prescription diets are on limited supply. If this is the case, we will work with you to find an alternative.
If you are dropping off a pet for surgery, dental procedure, or in-hospital treatment you may enter the lobby upon arrival and the front desk staff will admit your pet.

If you are picking up your pet at the end of the day you may enter the lobby and the front desk staff will assist you with the release of your pet.

At this time, we are asking that clients with an appointment or walk-in service to see a veterinarian continue to check-in by phone and wait in the car until an exam room is available. A technician will call when it is time to enter for your appointment. We are welcoming 1 adult wearing a mask in the exam room to accompany the pet for the visit.
